layre.moe Music License

This license applies to any musical works released under the layre.moe label, unless otherwise specified.

1. Grants of Rights

Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, Layre hereby grants the Licensee (you) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and irrevocable license to use the licensed musical track(s) under the following conditions:

1.1 Permitted Uses

You are allowed to:

Distribute, stream, and publicly perform the track on any platform, including but not limited to YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, and similar services.
Include the track in software or interactive media, including rhythm or gameplay-based titles (e.g., osu!, Beat Saber, Geometry Dash), with or without monetization.
Remix the track and publish derivative works, including commercial monetization of such remixes.
Monetize any of the above uses directly or indirectly (e.g., ad revenue, sponsorships, or paid downloads).

1.2 Attribution Policy

You must follow these attribution rules when using, sharing, or creating derivative works based on music released under layre.moe:

Solo Tracks (Released under "Layre" or "LayreBoi")

Attribution is optional for unmodified use in social media content, games, livestreams, etc.
Attribution is required for remixes or other derivative works. You must credit Layre (or LayreBoi) as the original creator.

Collaborative Tracks (Released with other artists)

Attribution is always required, regardless of how the track is used (social media, games, remixes, etc.).
You must credit all listed artists or the track's credited names, unless stated otherwise in the original release.
Example: If a track is released as "LayreBoi & ExampleArtist", both names must be credited.

How to Attribute

Use phrases such as:
"Track by Layre & Collaborator",
"Remix of 'Title' by LayreBoi",
"LayreBoi - Title"
in descriptions, titles, or credit sections.
Attribution must be reasonably visible wherever the track is published or shared.

2. Restrictions and Prohibited Uses

The following uses are not permitted under this license:

2.1 Misrepresentation

You may not claim authorship, sole ownership, or exclusive rights to the original track(s) or any remixes or derivative works created by you.
Mandatory Attribution for Remixes: If you create a remix, or derivative work based on any of the original tracks released under layre.moe, you must provide proper attribution to the original creators of the track. This includes clearly crediting the original creators in the track's title, description, and any public-facing materials (e.g., YouTube, Bandcamp, etc.)

2.2 Sensitive or Controversial Use

You may not use the track(s) in association with:
- Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
- Religious content, ceremonies, or proselytizing.
- Political campaigns, advocacy, or ideologies.
- Content that violates any laws or public order in your jurisdiction or internationally.
- Content considered morally offensive or exploitative by commonly accepted standards.

2.3 AI and Machine Learning Use

You may not use the track(s), in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine learning models (including music generation tools) without prior, explicit, written permission from the original creators.

3. Scope and Limitations

3.1 Ownership

The original creators retain full copyright and moral rights over all original works licensed under this agreement.
This license does not transfer ownership of the musical work(s) to the Licensee.

3.2 Audio-Only Scope

This license applies solely to the audio recording(s) and composition(s).
It does not apply to any music videos, visualizers, cover art, or associated audiovisual content uploaded or produced by the original creators unless explicitly stated.

4. Termination

This license is automatically terminated if the Licensee breaches any of the terms listed in Section 2. Upon termination, the Licensee must immediately cease all use, distribution, and monetization of the track(s) and destroy any existing copies or derivative works unless otherwise permitted by the original creators in writing.

5. Legal Notes

This license does not constitute legal advice or a legal contract in a court of law, unless interpreted as such under applicable copyright frameworks.
No warranties or guarantees are made regarding fitness for any particular use. Use of the track(s) is at your own risk.
The Licensee is responsible for complying with applicable laws in their own jurisdiction when using the track(s).
By using the track(s), you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this license.
